History
The Miniature Schnauzer was bred down to miniature size from their larger cousin, the Standard Schnauzer to work as barnyard ratters. Today, however. the Mini Schnauzer is more known as a beloved and attractive furry companion and holds the highest AKC registrations of the three Schnauzer breeds.
