Pembroke Welsh Corgi Bio
Description:
The Pembroke Welsh Corgi is a low-set, sturdily built and active puppy that gives off an impression of substance and stamina in a small space. They should not be so low and heavy-boned as to appear coarse or overdone, nor so light-boned as to appear racy. Their overall outlook is bold, but kindly. Their expression is intelligent and interested. Corgi puppies are never shy nor vicious.
History
Though their origins are shrouded in myth and legend, the Pembroke Welsh Corgi can be traced to the British Isles as early as the 9th or 10th century. Because of their small stature, they were bred to herd cows and horses since they were small enough to avoid being kicked by the animals.
